Sledding and Santa

So remember in my last post when I said that snow had finally fallen? Well it came and left within a week (which I'm pretty happy about!) It's been dry ground here in MN for a while now, and I'm just hoping it stays that way until our flight out on xmas day . . . but knowing our luck we'll get a HUGE dump the night before we need to fly out!

It's only a week until Christmas, YAYYY!! Which means we had to go get a Santa picture! They had this set up in the Mall of America with a really good Santa where he got down and played with the kids for the picture, so we thought that would be more cute than her just sitting on his lap . . . . we didn't quite make it to the playing on the ground stage . . . she had a meltdown!  Those pix are below.

We took a few more snow pix of Harlow and Daddy sledding.  She wasn't too sure about it at first, but then was loving it on her own.  It must have reminded her of going down slides, since she's obsessed with them!

She's happy in this one!

not so happy in this one! haha poor kid!

Back to loving it again! She was clapping and laughing so hard, it was adorable!
Found her sleeping like this one night . . apparently my mom says I used to always sleep like this!
Now for Santa . . . These are the pix that Brandon took from behind the camera guy, so they're off center . . we need to take a pic of the one we bought but haven't gotten around to it yet.  Harlow tripped on some camera equipment right before it was her turn so she was crying and her face was all red, so it's not the best Santa pic, but it'll do.

Not the best one of me, but the dress she's wearing was sent from my parents! It is ADORABLE on her!
Just checking out Santa's room (Santa is hiding so that she won't freak out if he sees her)
Everything's good - still hasn't seen Santa yet, he crept in behind her!

Santa was wiping a tear away from when she fell!
doing well . . . no freak out yet
In this picture you can start seeing the meltdown begin . . . Harlow's wondering who the heck this bearded  guys is and Santa is starting to say "It's okay".  Brandon stopped taking pictures, but Courtney was taking video and she got the whole meltdown on tape! I need to put that up on youtube so you guys can see it.

That's it for this post.  We're just hanging out this week.  Brandon is done with finals and he's got 3 weeks off!!! He'll never get a break like that again until the end of his program so we're taking advantage of it and going to Seattle, Victoria and Phoenix! It'll be a fun Christmas, but a very busy one!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you!

It's Winter . . . .

Well it is officially winter here in Minnesota, the snow has fallen . . . . finally . . . I don't say finally in the super excited tone, more like in a shocked voice. Apparently, not having snow until the first week of December is pretty unusual out here, so THANK YOU Minnesota for being so kind to me my first winter!! I just hope that this doesn't mean that the snow will last until May. So now that it's super chilly outside, and I'm deathly afraid of driving in the icy weather (like I get beyond stressed out and super tense during any winter icy driving . . . just ask Brandon) Harlow and I will be doing lots of fun activities until I get over my fear, or the snowplows do a really good job clearing the streets!

So it's been a while since my last post and we've been super busy! I was in Chicago for training for a week, then Brandon came out to meet me for the weekend and it was SUPER FUN!! I LOVED Chicago! We stayed right downtown, so we walked everywhere. We ate lots of yummy food, saw lots of fun things like Navy Pier (where we met Bob the trainer from Biggest Loser and I got an autograph . . . yeah, I'm that cool!), Millenium Park, the bean (which was waaay cooler than it sounded). So yeah, it was super fun. Then I came home for a week and then Harlow and I went to Phoenix!!! It was super fun, and such nice weather! I went in to work for a couple days, and then hung out with friends, cousins and Harlows boyfriends, it was great!

So here are a few pix from the last little while . . . I can't believe Christmas is only a few weeks away! We'll celebrate here on the 24th (that's when the Randalls celebrate everything) Then we're off to Seattle, Victoria & Phoenix on the 25th . . WAHOOO!!! okay, onto the pix . . .

After her first time in the snow. . . LOVE the rosy cheeks!

I wish I got this on video! She was bending down to touch the snow and totally face-planted, it was hilarious! and then really sad :(

Ashton getting his T-ball on (this is Brandon's homemade T-ball contraption)

They were obsessed with the entertainment center while Brandon was building it - they just wanted to crawl and play in it!

Cousin Love!! They're so cute

Birthday time!

More cousin time in Phoenix!

Harlow and Jack having hug time!

Love this! My friend Eileen and I with our cute kiddos!

She won't go anywhere without her bear, it's pretty adorable!

Halloween and other cute stuff

Not much to say this time around . . . here are some cute fall pix that Brandon took of Harlow followed by some adorable halloween pictures! She was the cutest lady bug around. We went out to Wisconsin and trick-or-treated with her cousins, Ashton (captain america), Jasmine (ninja turtle), and Aurora (Yoda). They were ALL adorable and Harlow loved it!

I have no idea what was so funny, I just thought this was an awesome candid shot!

Look how much fun Harlow is having!!

Don't mind the socks on her hands . . . those are supposed to be gloves, I wasn't prepared for the freezing cold halloween night!

Overall, it was much more eventful halloween than last year, I guess that comes with age :) She's at the most fun age EVER, we just love it! Next week's adventure . . . off to Phoenix to see friends and family, oh how I miss the warm weather!! Harlow and I are going to eat yummy food, hang out with her 2 boyfriends (that have been missing her so much for 6 months . . . they better not be cheating on her!) and have fun in the sun! I'm sure there will be lots of fun pictures after the trip next week, so stay tuned!
